YHPApp
This is a simulation of planetary forces and movement.
The camera can be moved around with arrow keys, zoomed in by scrolling and by clicking space button the camera can be rotated to look around. When space button is clicked the simulation is stopped.
By right-clicking an empty space a screen will appear to place more celestial objects. These objects include: planet, asteroid, and star. When placing a celestial objects its instance variables are initialized by the player.
By clicking on an object a screen that shows its data appears and the object will be highlighted. The highlighted objects can be dragged around. This can be removed by clicking again on the same object.
Planets and asteroids have trails behind them that show their orbits. Asteroids have more intense trails.
When an asteroid collides with either a star or planet it explodes. If a planet collides with a star or another planet with greater mass it also explodes. The explosions are rendered through particle systems and there are four particle systems. One for the sparks, another one for the rocks, another one for the flash and the last one for the burning part.
